Michelle the souffle queen. I'm writing this after the you made the cumquat souffle and it is hard to choose between them. Equal first with the chocolate one a tad behind. Actually better than the strawberry souffle we had at Pier and on a par with passionfruit souffle at Est. Souffle must be the flavour of the month now. Who cares. More please.

God that Vic's Meats pork belly is good. Best crispy crackling so far. Better than the pork belly we had at Aria and almost as good as Pilu.

I like to consider myself a bit of an expert on Tiramisu. Eating that is. When we went to Italy we even called it my panna cotta and tiramisu tour of Italy. This was as good a tiramisu as any I had in Italy. Certainly at least the equal to the best I've had in Oz. You know how I like a wet sloppy tiramisu? Well I do and at first I thought this one looked a little dry. But you know what? It wasn't. It was pretty much perfect. Nice balance of alcohol and coffee without being too soggy. Sweet as mate.
Make me another one.

This was as good a slow roasted lamb shoulder I've had. Roasted slowly for a good 3 or 4 hours and basted every so often. Then when it comes to carving it is less carving than giving it a tap and the meat just falls off the bone. So succulent and delicious. The reduced juices made a lovely sticky sweet sauce too. The celeriac puree and vegies set it all off perfectly. Yummo.
